Word #56. Pursuit.

Things shift when you see learning as a pursuit rather than something done to you or mandated of you.

This perspective transforms the idea of learning into a quest with an intention and direction. It is fueled by choice, desire and effort with an expectation of surprise. Rarely do quests follow a straight, predictable line.

Most importantly, your pursuit is your responsibility. Taking the first step on a new learning journey is often the hardest part.

And only you can take it.
